Blaine, MN -- Today, Michele Bachmann released the followed statement on Mitt Romney's pick of Paul Ryan for Vice President:
"Today, Mitt Romney cemented his vision for America as the economic leader in the world. Paul Ryan's leadership in Congress and his boldness to deal with our financial problems is exactly what Americans want to hear. More importantly, Ryan's boldness is exactly what America needs. Since 2008, uncertainty has plagued employers, families and our economy and the Obama-Biden ticket has failed to realize the depth of the situation.
"Americans know we will grow when we are strong. The Romney-Ryan Republican ticket is our Comeback Ticket to prosperity and strength. I'm proud to support these men and look forward to their success."
Boston, MA – Mitt Romney today announced his Women for Mitt coalition.
“I’m honored to have these strong and talented women on my team and am humbled by their support,” said Mitt Romney. “Across the country, people are struggling as a result of President Obama’s poor stewardship over our economy. I’m grateful to these women for joining me in my campaign to replace this administration’s failed policies with a pro-growth vision for our extraordinary nation.”
“I’m proud to be heading up this effort to reach out to women voters,” said Women for Mitt National Chairwoman Ann Romney. “There is no doubt that women will play a critical role in determining the outcome of this election, and that’s something Mitt understands well. He also knows how to turn around this economy so that it will better serve the interests of women and families across America.”
“All across America, women are tired of the President’s failed policies,” said Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers. “Since President Obama can’t run on his record, he’s resorted to scare tactics to distract and divide women – namely, the so-called 'War on Women,' which is a total myth. The women of America aren’t falling for it. They want real solutions and real leadership. Mitt Romney will provide that leadership.”
Former Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor Kerry Healey said, “Having served with Gov. Romney for four years in Massachusetts, I’m honored to spread his positive vision for America to women throughout the country. During the time he was Governor, women composed half of Gov. Romney's cabinet and many more served as highly-respected, top-level advisers. Looking at Mitt's extraordinary track record supporting women in the workforce, it's clear that whether women choose to work at home, in government or the private sector, Mitt understands and respects the value of each woman's contribution to American prosperity. I’m confident that a Romney presidency would continue to show that same kind of appreciation for the value of women's voices and women's skills to the project of renewing our country.”
“As a mother of six, I’m proud to stand with Mitt in his efforts to restore common sense and fiscal responsibility in Washington,” said author and television host Rachel Campos Duffy. “Under President Obama’s Administration, the national debt has ballooned to almost $16 trillion. That’s a profoundly immoral legacy to leave our children, and it’s why I’m committed to helping Mitt’s campaign defeat President Obama this fall.”

Blaine, Minn - Michele Bachmann filed for reelection to the sixth district today. Bachmann is running for her fourth term in Congress as a leader of conservative and common sense solutions.
Speaking about her district, Bachmann said:
"Minnesotans see the slow recovery and sustained unemployment and they worry their children and grandchildren will never achieve the American Dream of independence. The voters have said the economy is the number one issue of this election and they understand failed policies to spend our way out of this recession are simply not working. Minnesotans are ready for leadership that can create jobs, lower taxes and reduce government involvement in our businesses. We are all ready for America to get back to work, back to liberty and back to prosperity.
"From large projects like the St. Croix Bridge to personal issues like foster care, the sixth district has been my home for 40 years, and I will continue to serve my constituents on the issues that matter to them."
Bachmann is running in the sixth district that covers all of Benton, Sherburne and parts of Anoka, Carver, Stearns, Washington and Wright counties.
Michele Bachmann Endorses Mitt Romney for President of the United States
Woodbury, Minn - Today, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann issued the following statement on her endorsement of Mitt Romney for President of the United States:
"This November, Americans will be at the polls with a serious choice- they can vote for more of Barack Obama's transformation of America, with more joblessness, higher energy prices, fewer opportunities for our children, more government controls, bailouts, and failed economic policies, or theycan vote for a new vision of prosperity and liberty. I'm honored to announce that today, I am endorsing Governor Mitt Romney for President of the United States, a man who will preserve the American dream of prosperity and liberty.
"We've had a hard fought battle already to choose a candidate. Being personally involved in the endorsement process was an honor for me. And I want to thank everyone involved in the campaigns, from the candidates, the delegates, the volunteers, all of us can be proud of our efforts.
"This is the last chance we have to keep America from going "forward", over the cliff, as Governor Romney said, and restore the values of prosperity and freedom. This isthe opportunity for conservatives, independents, and disaffected Democrats to join me and Governor Romney in denying Obama a second term. On November 6th, the only option is Mitt Romney for President."
Bachmann: America Needs Connie Mack in the US Senate
"Connie has been a steadfast fighter for freedom, less government and a fiscal hawk together with me in the United States Congress. For every good proposal passed out of the House, the liberal Senate under Harry Reid and Bill Nelson have stopped it, including Connie's recent proposal to build the Keystone XL Pipeline without Presidential approval. Senators like Marco Rubio and Rand Paul need other like-minded conservatives in the Senate to stop the liberals from tearing down our nation. America needs Connie Mack in the US Senate."

Bachmann Thanks Santorum for his Contribution to the Presidential Campaign
Woodbury, Minn - Today, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann reacted to the news that Senator Rick Santorum is suspending his campaign for the Presidency:
"I deeply respect and admire Rick. He ran a great campaign.
"I appreciate the hard work and courage he demonstrated throughout the contest. He undoubtedly had a positive influence on the course of the race.
"Senator Santorum is a proud advocate for life. He has exemplified what family should be through his love for his wife, Karen, and their children, Elizabeth, Richard, Daniel, Sarah, Peter, Patrick, Bella, and Gabriel.
"Senator Santorum is an ally for Israel, and he truly understands the situation in Iran and the dangers of that regime.
"Minnesotans put their faith behind Santorum because they wanted a strong conservative alternative to the failed policies of President Obama.
"I personally would like to thank Senator Santorum for entering the race and for running strong. Our party will continue to rely on his voice in the remaining months before the election. We must ensure the positive solutions he stood for are made realities. He will always be a steadfast voice for conservative values.
"We wish the Senator and his family all the best. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they conclude this chapter in their lives."
