EDWARDS CAMPAIGN TO RUN ADS IN THREE NEW IOWA MEDIA MARKETS
DES MOINES, IA: The Edwards for President campaign in Iowa announced today that the campaign will begin running ads in three new Iowa media markets. In addition to the ads that are currently running in the Des Moines and Cedar Rapids markets, the campaign will start airing ads in the Sioux City, Ottumwa, and Mason City markets beginning on Monday, August 25, 2003.
“Senator Edwards believes that America works best when it works for all of us, and we are excited to communicate his vision to even more caucus-goers around the state,” said Edwards for President Iowa Co-Chair Rob Tully. “We have a strong grassroots infrastructure in place and these ads will help us build on Senator Edwards’ growing support in Iowa.”
Two of the ads that will run in the new markets, entitled “Plan” and “Jobs,” are currently airing in the Des Moines and Cedar Rapids media markets. A new ad called “Hometown,” which focuses on Senator Edwards’ plan to revitalize small towns and rural areas, will run in just the Sioux City, Ottumwa, and Mason City markets.
In addition, Senator Edwards has opened 14 campaign offices around the state of Iowa and just completed a 6-day, 19-county bus tour through Iowa with his family to share the ideas in his policy agenda, “Real Solutions for America.”
