New Kerry Ad Tells the Truth About Taxes
Washington, DC – The Kerry-Edwards campaign Monday released its latest television ad “The Truth on Taxes.” The 30-second television spot looks beyond the Bush rhetoric on taxes and reveals the truth – the middle class is paying a higher share of the tax burden under George Bush while the wealthiest are paying less.
Unlike President Bush, John Kerry will strengthen and expand the middle class with a plan to cut taxes for middle-class families and bring down health care, energy and education costs.

AD SCRIPT
JOHN KERRY: Here’s the truth about taxes. After nearly four years under George Bush, the middle class is paying the bigger share of the America’s tax burden and the wealthiest are paying less. It’s wrong. We need to cut taxes on the middle class, not raise them. We also need to get healthcare costs under control and lower our nation’s deficit. I don’t believe the wealthy need another tax cut. I believe ordinary Americans need someone who will fight for them. I’m John Kerry and I approved this message.
