Romney For President Launches New Radio Ad, "New Leadership"

Romney For President Launches New Radio Ad, "New Leadership"

Boston, MA – Today, Romney for President launched its newest radio ad, "New Leadership." The ad highlights Senator Judd Gregg (R-NH) discussing his belief that Governor Mitt Romney has the experience needed to lead America today. Governor Romney has led and turned around businesses, the 2002 Winter Olympics and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. As President, he will do the same for our government with the help of leaders like Senator Gregg.

The ad will begin airing as part of the campaign's rotation today in New Hampshire.

Script For "New Leadership" (Radio:60):

SENATOR JUDD GREGG: "As I travel around the state, it is obvious that New Hampshire and America are hungry for a new kind of leadership.

"Hi, this is Judd Gregg and I'm strongly supporting Mitt Romney for President.

"Listening to Mitt speak to the people of New Hampshire, I've been impressed.

"Two things stand out: He's not from Washington, and Mitt Romney has accomplished so much. And he stands for even more.

"Mitt has successfully led. He built small and large businesses. His leadership saved the Olympics, and as governor of Massachusetts, Mitt turned that state around.

"Mitt understands the big problems confronting us: the threat of Islamic fundamentalism and ensuring that the Baby Boom generation can retire without bankrupting our children's future.

"As President, Mitt will bring that 'can-do, get-it-done, let's-solve-the-problem' optimism America needs today.

"Mitt Romney embodies New Hampshire's values-the values you and I want in a leader.

"For a strong America, I hope you'll join me in supporting Mitt Romney for President. He's the right choice for us."

GOVERNOR MITT ROMNEY: "I'm Mitt Romney and I approve this message."

ANNOUNCER: "Paid for by Romney for President. MittRomney.com."

Romney For President Launches New Television Ad, "American Family"

ROMNEY FOR PRESIDENT LAUNCHES NEW TELEVISION AD, "AMERICAN FAMILY"

Boston, MA – Today, Romney for President launched its newest television ad, "American Family."  The ad highlights Governor Romney and Ann Romney talking with other parents about our country's future and the importance of strengthening families in America.  As President, Governor Romney will stand alongside parents by lowering tax burdens, ensuring a strong defense and strengthening laws that protect our children.

The ad will begin airing today as part of the campaign's rotation in Iowa and New Hampshire.  Script and viewing link are below.

Script For "American Family" (TV:30):

GOVERNOR MITT ROMNEY:  "I'm Mitt Romney, and I approve this message.

"The future of this country is more affected by the work that goes on within the four walls of the home than anything else.

"You teach kids about what TV to watch.  You teach them how to read."

ANN ROMNEY:  "And that's how we raised our boys, is knowing that they were the focus."

GOVERNOR MITT ROMNEY:  "It's just essential to have a home where faith, where love of country, where determination, where all of these features that are so much a part of America's culture are tied to our kids.

"And without that, I don't see how a society continues to lead the world."

Governor Mitt Romney On Veterans Day

GOVERNOR MITT ROMNEY ON VETERANS DAY

Boston, MA – Today, Governor Mitt Romney issued the following statement on Veterans Day:

"Today, we honor the men and women who have served our country in the Armed Forces.  Every American is grateful for the very extraordinary acts these men and women have performed so that we may continue to enjoy freedom and liberty at home.

"On this day, we also must recommit ourselves to honoring their service when they return home.  Every wounded veteran, fallen soldier and grieving family paid the price for our freedom and our security.  All they require is the care they and their families need.  We are indebted to them for their service and that debt needs to be paid without delay or inefficiency.

"In Massachusetts, Republicans and Democrats were able to work together to expand benefits for our state's veterans.  In Washington, we must do the same.  This is one issue where party identification does not matter.  Our men and women are serving in far away places, and they should always be confident that their government stands behind them.  On this Veterans Day, let us make a commitment to our military men and women, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, and mothers and fathers truly worthy of the 21st century."

ROMNEY FOR PRESIDENT LAUNCHES NEW TELEVISION AD, "CHANGE IMMIGRATION"

Boston, MA – Today, Romney for President announced its newest television ad, "Change Immigration."  The ad highlights Governor Romney's plan to reform our immigration system by securing the border, cutting back on funding for cities that ignore federal immigration laws and opposing amnesty.  Governor Romney has a record of enforcing our immigration laws.  He deputized the State Police to enforce federal immigration law, opposed driver's licenses for illegal immigrants, and vetoed in-state tuition for illegal immigrants.

The ad is airing as part of the campaign's rotation in Iowa and New Hampshire.  Script and viewing link are below.

Script For "Change Immigration" (TV:30):

GOVERNOR MITT ROMNEY:  "We all know Hillary Clinton and the Democrats have it wrong on illegal immigration.

"Our party should not make that mistake.

"As Governor, I authorized the State Police to enforce immigration laws.  I opposed driver's licenses and in-state tuition for illegal aliens.

"As President, I'll oppose amnesty, cut funding for sanctuary cities and secure our borders.

"Legal immigration is great, but illegal immigration – that's got to stop.

"I'm Mitt Romney and I approved this message."

Boston, MA – Today, Paul Weyrich, Chairman and CEO of the Free Congress Research and Education Foundation, announced his support for Governor Mitt Romney and his campaign to be our country's next President.  Paul Weyrich is one of the premier leaders in the conservative movement, having founded the Heritage Foundation and the American Legislative Exchange Council.

Romney For President Launches New Television Ad, "Experience Matters"

Romney For President Launches New Television Ad, "Experience Matters"

Boston, MA – Today, Romney for President launched its newest television ad, "Experience Matters." The ad highlights Governor Romney's belief that our nation's leader must have the experience "to run the largest enterprise in the world." Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) does not have that experience and our nation cannot afford a leader who needs on-the-job training. Governor Romney has led businesses, the 2002 Winter Olympics and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In each case, he brought change and turned around institutions. As President, he will do the same for our government.

The ad will begin airing as part of the campaign's rotation today in New Hampshire. Script and viewing links are below.

Script For "Experience Matters" (TV:30):

GOVERNOR MITT ROMNEY: "Hillary Clinton wants to run the largest enterprise in the world. She hasn't run a corner store. She hasn't run a state. She hasn't run a city.

"She has never run anything. And the idea that she could learn to be President as an internship just doesn't make any sense.

"I have spent my life running things. I've learned how to run a business. I've learned how to run a state. I ran the Olympics. In each case, I've brought change.

"And if there's ever been a time we needed change in Washington to bring strength to America, it's now.

"I'm Mitt Romney and I approve this message."

Senator Judd Gregg Endorses Governor Mitt Romney

SENATOR JUDD GREGG ENDORSES GOVERNOR MITT ROMNEY

Boston, MA – Today, Senator Judd Gregg (R-NH) announced his endorsement of Governor Mitt Romney for President of the United States.  Senator Gregg is New Hampshire's Senior Senator, and in 2004, he received the highest number of votes in any election in the state's history.  He will be joining Governor Romney as he campaigns throughout New Hampshire today and in the coming weeks and months.

"I am proud to stand alongside Governor Romney as he campaigns to build a stronger America.  For months, the people of New Hampshire have had the opportunity to meet Governor Romney all over the state and listen to his ideas for bringing change to Washington.  Mitt Romney embodies New Hampshire's values – values that stress government living within its means, lower taxes, a stronger military and stronger families," said Senator Gregg.  "Governor Romney is the strong leader we need to lead America forward.  He has the experience, vision and values needed to be our next President."

Making today's announcement, Governor Romney said, "For nearly thirty years, Judd Gregg has served the citizens of New Hampshire with distinction, championing our shared conservative values.  As New Hampshire's Senior Senator, he has always fought to do what is right for the people of his state, and he is one of the most respected fiscal watchdogs in Congress.  Judd Gregg's leadership and support is a significant addition to our campaign to build a stronger America.  As we head into New Hampshire's First in the Nation Primary, I am proud to have Judd Gregg and grassroots supporters from all across the state at my side."
