Giuliani Campaign Unveils Central Iowa Leadership
Former State Senator and Mayor Gene Maddox To Serve As Regional Chair

New York City – The Rudy Giuliani Presidential Committee today unveiled County Chairs and Co-Chairs in Central Iowa. The campaign also announced former State Senator and Mayor of Clive Gene Maddox will serve as Mayor Giuliani’s Central Iowa Regional Chairman. Maddox’s political experience in Iowa also includes service as a State Representative, where he was Chairman of the Judiciary Committee. 

Maddox will work closely with other prominent Central Iowans, including Russ Cross, who is serving as the campaign’s State Caucus Chairman.

“Mayor Giuliani’s executive experience and strong leadership is the right combination for the voters of Iowa,” said Maddox.  “Rudy is committed to winning the Iowa Caucuses and he is building the proper team for victory.”

Pennsylvania Congressmen Endorse Rudy Giuliani for President

New York City – The Rudy Giuliani Presidential Committee today announced that Representatives Phil English and Jim Gerlach, of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, have endorsed Rudy Giuliani for President of the United States.

"Rudy Giuliani possesses the strong, proven leadership that our next President will need in order to build a coalition to lead our country forward,” said English, who represents the state’s 3rd District. “Mayor Giuliani has already held one of the toughest elected executive positions in America as New York City’s Mayor, where he proved he is a real fiscal conservative.”

Gerlach, of Pennsylvania’s Sixth District, said: “Rudy Giuliani is the right man, at the right time to be our next President. He has unparalleled experience as a chief executive, having cut taxes 23 times while mayor and made government more efficient and responsive to its citizens. Mayor Giuliani holds an optimistic vision for our country, and I am proud to support his candidacy.”

New York City – The Rudy Giuliani Presidential Committee today announced U.S. Representatives Jerry Weller and Judy Biggert endorsed Mayor Giuliani for President of the United States.  Both Illinois U.S. Representatives join State Representative Tom Cross, State House Republican Leader and Rudy’s Illinois State Chairman, in supporting the Mayor.

“As Mayor of New York, Rudy proved he is the strong leader with the executive experience we need to lead our nation,” said Congressman Weller, who serves on the House Ways and Means Committee.  “I share Rudy’s commitment to fiscal discipline and to making America energy independent. Rudy is the one candidate that can accomplish these goals.”

Bismarck Mayor Endorses Rudy Giuliani for President Mayor John Warford Named as North Dakota Finance Chairman

New York City – The Rudy Giuliani Presidential Committee today announced the endorsement of John Warford, Mayor of Bismarck, North Dakota.  Mayor Warford, who is a former Republican National Committeeman for the North Dakota Republican Party, will serve as the Giuliani campaign’s North Dakota Finance Chairman, leading the effort to build financial support throughout the state.

Giuliani Campaign Announces Southeast Iowa Endorsements

New York City – The Rudy Giuliani Presidential Committee today announced endorsements in Southeast Iowa.  Following Mayor Giuliani’s swing through Iowa last week, which concluded at a town hall meeting with hundreds of local voters in Davenport, Mayor Giuliani earned endorsements from several county chairs and co-chairs throughout the region. 

The Southeast Regional Chair is former state Senator Maggie Tinsman.  Senator Tinsman was also a former Assistant Minority Leader and the first woman to serve on the Scott County Board of Supervisors. As the Southeast Regional Chair, she will work throughout the region to build upon Rudy Giuliani’s volunteer base and grassroots organization. She is also serving as a statewide Co-Chair for the campaign. 

Mayor Giuliani also received endorsements from Iowa County Sheriff Nicholas Roggentien and Robert Brennan, the Mayor of Deep River.

“The support for Rudy Giuliani during his recent trip to Iowa shows that his message of strong leadership and optimism is resonating throughout the state,” said Giuliani’s National Political Director Mark Campbell. “Rudy’s team in Southeast Iowa will be a great asset to our campaign as we continue to build momentum and our volunteer base.”
