Rudy Giuliani Campaign Launches New Radio Ad in New Hampshire

Rudy Giuliani Campaign Launches New Radio Ad in New Hampshire

New York City- The Rudy Giuliani Presidential Committee today announced the launch of a new radio ad in New Hampshire, entitled “Deliver.”

Script for “Deliver”:

AUDIO

RUDY GIULIANI: “There’s no question.  Taxes go down.  Revenues go up.”

VOICEOVER: “He cut taxes 23 times by 9 billion. Reduced welfare 640,000. Eliminated 20,000 bureaucrats. And cut real per capita spending. All in a place where people said it was impossible. Now, Rudy Giuliani has a new plan.  He’ll cut taxes.  Lower income taxes.  Reduce business taxes.  And do away with the marriage penalty and the death tax for good.”

RUDY GIULIANI: “We need accountability in the spending of our money so that people have confidence in government again.”

VOICEOVER: “Rudy will also rein in runaway federal spending. Do away with earmarks. Make agency heads find 5 to 10 percent savings in every budget. And when nearly half of the federal work force retires over the next 8 years, he’ll only replace half of them. Rudy Giuliani.  He won’t just talk about cutting taxes and reducing government.  He’ll deliver.”

RUDY GIULIANI: “I’m Rudy Giuliani and I approved this message.”

VOICEOVER: “Paid for by the Rudy Giuliani Presidential Committee, Incorporated. JoinRudy2008.com”

Rudy Giuliani’s Statement On National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s Statement on National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

New York City – Mayor Rudy Giuliani released the following statement on National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day:

“On December 7th, 1941, the United States of America was attacked at Pearl Harbor. We lost not only 2,403 brave Americans, but also the sense of security that had come from being a nation separated from wars in Europe and Asia by two oceans. Today, 66 years after the attacks, we remember the heroism of those who lost their lives, and we honor the courage of those men and women in uniform who still stand ready to defend our liberty.

“In the aftermath of the Pearl Harbor attack, an entire generation mobilized overnight and dedicated itself to defeating the dictatorships of the Axis Powers. The example of the Greatest Generation inspires us in our own struggle against the tyranny of terrorism.  As we mark this anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attacks, we remember their sacrifice and honor their success in expanding the reach of freedom around the world.”

Rudy Giuliani Campaign Launches New Television Ad, "One Hour"

Rudy Giuliani Campaign Launches New Television Ad in New Hampshire

New York City - The Rudy Giuliani Presidential Committee today announced the launch of a new television ad, entitled “One Hour.”  The ad is airing in New Hampshire and Boston.

Script for “One Hour”:

MAYOR GIULIANI: “I remember back to the 1970s and the early 1980s. Iranian mullahs took American hostages and they held the American hostages for 444 days. And they released the American hostages in one hour, and that should tell us a lot about these Islamic terrorists that we’re facing. The one hour in which they released them was the one hour in which Ronald Reagan was taking the Oath of Office as President of the United States. The best way you deal with dictators, the best way you deal with tyrants and terrorists, you stand up to them. You don’t back down. I’m Rudy Giuliani and I approve this message.”

Rudy Giuliani Campaign Launches New Television Ad In New Hampshire

Rudy Giuliani Campaign Launches New Television Ad in New Hampshire

New York City - The Rudy Giuliani Presidential Committee announced the launch of a new television ad, entitled “Promise.”  The ad is airing in New Hampshire and Boston.

Script for “Promise”:

MAYOR GIULIANI: “When I became Mayor of New York City things were out of control.  I lowered taxes.  I reduced the growth of government. Made government more accountable.  And New York City boomed.  I would do these things for America because I know they work.  I know that reducing taxes produces more revenues.  Democrats don’t know that. They don’t believe it.  Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Edwards, here’s a promise I assure you they’ll keep. They are making the promise to raise taxes.  The only thing I can tell you in addition to that is they’ll raise taxes even more than they promise. I’m Rudy Giuliani and I approve this message.”

Statement From Congressman Peter King On Tonight’s Debate

Statement from Congressman Peter King

New York City – The Rudy Giuliani Presidential Committee released the following statement from Congressman Peter King on tonight’s debate:

“Tonight’s debate showed once again that Rudy is the real deal.  You know where you stand with Mayor Giuliani and you can believe him when he says he’ll cut taxes, restrain runaway spending and end illegal immigration because he’s tackled the tough issues before and gotten results.  Rudy’s authenticity, experience and frankness on the issues stand out in a field of candidates relying on tired rhetoric and political one-liners.”

Former Governor Jim Edgar Endorses Giuliani For President

Former Governor Jim Edgar Endorses Giuliani for President

Lisle, IL – The Rudy Giuliani Presidential Committee today announced the endorsement of former Illinois Governor Jim Edgar.  Edgar served two terms as Governor of Illinois.

“I believe Mayor Giuliani is the best candidate to help the Republican Party win the White House in 2008.  The reasons are clear that Rudy is a leader with a proven track record and offers successful executive experience.  As Mayor, he cleaned up New York and his record as a fiscal conservative and crime fighter make him our best candidate to win the general election,” said Governor Edgar. “I am proud to offer my endorsement for President to Mayor Rudy Giuliani.”

“As the Illinois primary gets closer, Republicans in the state continue to join Rudy’s team.  We have a strong network in the state, which will only grow stronger with the addition of Governor Edgar,” said Giuliani State Chairman Tom Cross.

Governor Edgar joins several respected Illinois Republican leaders who have endorsed Mayor Giuliani including former Governor Jim Thompson, former Attorney General Jim Ryan, and U.S. Congresswoman Judy Biggert.
