Nicole Schlinger Joins Pawlenty Campaign
URBANDALE – Gov. Tim Pawlenty announced today that Nicole Schlinger, recognized as the leading Republican fundraising professional in Iowa and one of the state’s top organizers, has joined his presidential campaign.
Schlinger founded Campaign Headquarters in 1999 to provide candidates with professional fundraising and event management services. The firm, based in Brooklyn, Iowa, has grown to provide high-quality live telephone voter contact services to conservative candidates, initiatives, and causes nationwide.
Schlinger is the most prolific political fundraiser in Iowa Republican history for candidates ranging from city council members to governors. She was also the Straw Poll Director for Mitt Romney’s victorious 2007 Iowa Presidential Straw Poll campaign.
Prior to founding Campaign Headquarters, Schlinger served as Finance Director of the Republican Party of Iowa. She is a 1995 summa cum laude graduate of Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and policy studies.
“What speaks volumes to me about Nicole Schlinger’s professionalism and record of results is her favorite quote, ‘I’m going to succeed. The only question is whether or not you’re coming along for the ride.’ She knows the ride called the Iowa caucuses as well as anyone in the country,” Pawlenty said. “I appreciate her decision to join our campaign for the presidency and take the ride with us.”
