
CHICAGO – As President Obama gears up to officially accept his presidential nomination at the 46th Democratic National Convention, he will continue his “Road to Charlotte” tour with a campaign event in Toledo, Ohio on September 3. In Toledo, the President will deliver remarks at the UAW Labor Day Celebration.
Throughout the “Road to Charlotte” tour, the President will highlight “American Heroes” – people who exemplify the importance of the choice in this election and understand why our economy needs to be built from the middle out, not the top down.
In light of the President’s travel to Louisiana to meet with local officials and view ongoing response and recovery efforts to Hurricane Isaac, President Obama will no longer travel to Cleveland, Ohio on Monday, September 3.
