Obama for America Releases New Television Ad: “Blatant”
CHICAGO -- Obama for America released a new television advertisement today titled “Blatant” that lays out how Mitt Romney’s claim regarding the President’s welfare policy is blatantly false. The truth is clear: President Obama is strengthening welfare-to-work requirements by requiring states to move 20 percent more people from welfare to work in order to receive additional flexibility. And as noted in the ad, even President Clinton – who signed welfare reform into law – said Romney’s claims are “not true.”
“Blatant” will air in Colorado, Iowa, Florida, North Carolina, Nevada, Ohio, and Virginia.
