As presidential candidate Herman Cain shares his “9-9-9 Plan” with American voters, his message to renew our country by putting citizens back to work and strengthening our national security position via economic dominance is resonating from coast to coast. To help spread the message of Mr. Cain’s “9-9-9 Plan” to every voter, the Cain Campaign has launched a five minute movie detailing why “9-9-9” is superior and fairer than the current tax code.

Americans know that the current tax system is broken. It suffocates American business growth and is a leading cause for our slow economic recovery over the past few years. So, what would happen if we scrapped all 82,000 pages of the current tax code and simplified things with Herman Cain's "9-9-9 Plan"?

Mr. Cain's latest video, "‘9-9-9: The Movie", explains just that:

“With the “9-9-9 Plan,” the economy would accelerate faster than Barack Obama on his way out of town. We would add two trillion dollars to GDP, and create six million jobs. Business investment would increase by a third. Wages would go up 10%, at the same time federal revenues would go up 15%.”

Expressions of gratitude towards God have been a tradition of Thanksgiving celebrations since the original gathering in Plymouth. As Americans, we have much to be thankful for. So many have sought the refuge and opportunity of our shores because they know that Americans have been blessed with the freedom to speak their minds, worship as they desire and pursue the American dream of a better, more productive and more fulfilling life for themselves and their families.

On this Thanksgiving like many others before them, we give special thanks for our men and women in uniform - past and present. We thank them for the many sacrifices they have made - including their lives - to protect and defend our American way of life.

Cain Maintains Focus on US Economy, Defines Broad National Security Policy Platform in Debate

Republican presidential frontrunner Herman Cain authoritatively tackled a variety of foreign policy issues while stressing the nation’s primary challenge of economic instability at Tuesday night’s debate at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington D.C. Cain stressed the need to focus efforts on strengthening the economy as a component of national security: “This whole discussion tonight about cutting and compromise—we didn’t spend enough time talking about the other part of the problem—growing this economy. This administration has failed dismally…we can cut till the cows come home but it will not solve the problem until we have effective economic growth.”

Discussing Iran’s growing quest for nuclear weapons, Cain explained that the situation with Iran is also shaped by prevailing forces in the region. Cain said, “…If we pull out of Afghanistan too soon, Iran is going to help fill that power vacuum in Afghanistan. And so it is in our best interest in the USA to prevent them from being able to (do that).”

Cain drew from his own wealth of experience in addressing a question about the greatest threat to national security that no one is talking about today: “Having been a ballistics analyst and a computer scientist earlier in my career,” Cain said, “Cyber attacks. That’s something that we do not talk enough about and I happen to believe that is a national security area that we do need to be concerned about.”

Cain explained how Mexico’s instability is a national security threat: “An insecure border is a national security threat for the following reasons. Number one, we know that terrorists have come into this country by way of Mexico. Secondly, 40 percent of the people in Mexico according to a survey already believe that their country is a failed state. Thirdly, the number of people killed in Mexico last year equals the number of people killed in Afghanistan and Iraq combined.

So yes, let’s solve the whole problem. Number one, secure the border for real. Number two, enforce the laws that are already there - we don’t need new laws. Number three promote the current path to citizenship. Clean up the bureaucracy in Washington D.C. so people can come through the front door instead of sneaking in the side door. And number four, to deal with the illegals that are already here, empower the states to do what the federal government is not capable of doing.”

Regarding US foreign assistance Cain stressed his common-sense platform of examining which problems are effective: “It depends upon priorities…Just like every program we have domestically, (we must ask) what have the results been, and then we make a decision about how we prioritize.”

According to former Reagan Treasury official Gary Robbins, of Fiscal Associates, 9-9-9 will expand our GDP by $2 trillion, create 6 million new jobs, increase business investment by one-third, and increase wages by 10 percent.

Cain Campaign Announces 800th Precinct Captain in Iowa

Steve Grubbs, the Iowa Chairman for the Herman Cain for President Campaign announced today that the organizational effort in Iowa had reached a significant milestone: 800 precinct captains across the state.

“Our entire grassroots team continues their sprint to the caucuses. On October 20th, the campaign started with 30 precinct captains and less than a month later, has successfully reached 800 precinct captains across the state,” said Steve Grubbs, Iowa campaign chair. “I want to congratulate Larry Tuel and his Des Moines staff for their herculean effort. People have wondered if four paid staffers could get the job done of much larger staffs, but with our legion of passionate grassroots volunteers, we are seeing a true revolution in American politics.”

There are roughly 1600 precincts in Iowa and each one will hold a Republican caucus on January 3rd. Some urban caucuses will be combined with other precincts making the job of organizing a little easier.

“The rapid growth of our organizational effort in Iowa shows that despite whatever challenges may present themselves, the Cain Campaign is charging ahead,” said Mark Block, Chief Political Strategist and Chief of Staff for the campaign effort. “Our social media model delivered roughly 25 percent of our Iowa precinct captains which is a tribute to our people and the new model of campaigning in the United States.”

With less than six weeks before the First-in-the-Nation Iowa Caucuses, the Iowa Cain team still has a big task in front of it. “We are filling our Des Moines phone bank with volunteers every day and using our Internet-based phone system as well to leverage our volunteers across the state,” said Larry Tuel, State Director for the Iowa Cain campaign.

“As a point of comparison, when I worked with the Dole and Forbes campaigns, we spent six to eight months getting our precinct captains lined up. I believe the Cain campaign will accomplish the same thing in about eight weeks,” said Grubbs. “People have doubted this campaign from the beginning, but people are ready to put a CEO in the White House and get this economy turned around.”

Republican Presidential candidate Herman Cain received eight additional endorsements today from key New Hampshire GOP political leaders, including a former U.S. Attorney and current and former New Hampshire State Representatives.

These latest endorsements came in advance of Mr. Cain’s successful visit to the Granite State to personally file his delegate list.

Mr. Cain received additional endorsements from: Thomas Colantuono, former U.S. Attorney for NH; former Rep. Mark Carter (Hillsborough-19); Rep. Sam Cataldo (Strafford-03); Rep. In response to the overwhelming success atop the national polls and growing campaign structure that has doubled in size over the past month to 75 staff and 1.9 million volunteers, the Cain Campaign has made organizational enhancements to maximize effectiveness.

Mr. Cain is a unique CEO and candidate leading the campaign, with the following senior staff.

Mark Block – Chief Political Strategist and Chief of Staff
A long time Republican Strategist from Wisconsin, Block has been state director of the Wisconsin chapter of Americans for Prosperity since 2005.  He is a veteran of numerous campaigns at the federal and state level, and served as Legislative Assistant to Rep. Bill Stieger (R-WI).  He was elected as a Winnebago County Board Supervisor at age 18 in 1974.

Jamie Brazil – Vice President, Field Operations
Brazil served as National Director of McCain's Citizens for McCain Coalition. He has more than 30 years experience in local, state, federal and international politics, to include the last national elections in Iraq.

J.D. Gordon – Vice President, Campaign Communications
Gordon served as Pentagon spokesman for the Western Hemisphere in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, under both Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and Secretary Robert Gates from 2005-09, and is a retired Navy Commander and career public affairs officer.
