(DES MOINES) – Secretary of State Matt Schulz in partnership with Rock the Vote announced today that Representatives Ron Paul and Michele Bachmann will attend and speak at the Rock the Caucus event on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 9:45 a.m.

The Rock the Caucus event prepares high school students to participate in the upcoming elections, and is being run in high schools across the state on January 3rd. The featured event at Valley High School will be attended by over 800 high school students.

Urbandale, Iowa – Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann announced the launch of her new television ad that will begin running today on cable and networkstations all across Iowa. The new ad titled “Iron Lady” features the strength of Bachmann’s character. Whether it’s fighting Obamacare, out-of-control spending or burdensome tax increases, Bachmann has demonstrated she will not waver on conservative principles Americans value most.

Team Bachmann Releases 99 Videos From 99 County Tour

Urbandale, Iowa - In completing her historical barnstorming tour, Iowa native and Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann today released 99 videos for each of Iowa's 99 counties, to campaign county chairmen and supporters, energizing voters leading up to the all-important Iowa caucuses on Jan. 3.

In just over ten days, Bachmann traveled more than 6,200 miles throughout Iowa and met with thousands of voters, securing their caucus support. Along the way, Team Bachmann recorded the videos, urging Iowans to take a stand and rally on Tuesday for the true consistent and constitutional conservative – Michele Bachmann. Each hit includes a "How to Caucus" to prep supporters for the important job tasked to them this coming Tuesday.
