Atlanta, GA - Herman Cain will join Newt and Callista Gingrich for their rally today in Chattanooga at the TAC Air Company.

In the final days before Super Tuesday, Herman Cain has been tirelessly campaigning on behalf of Newt Gingrich in Tennessee and Oklahoma alongside Jackie Gingrich Cushman and J.C. Watts. After traveling around Oklahoma today, Cain will return to Tennessee to stand alongside Newt and Callista tonight as they speak to Chattanooga voters.

Gingrich is surging in Tennessee according to a new poll released today, and he will be stopping in Kingsport, Alcoa, and Chattanooga today.

Newt Gingrich Announces Kansas Leadership Team Led by Beverly Gossage and Mike Pirner

NEWT GINGRICH ANNOUNCES KANSAS LEADERSHIP TEAM

Atlanta, GA - Newt Gingrich announced today the formulation of his Kansas Leadership Team, a coalition of state legislators and grassroots leaders in charge of his efforts leading up to the Kansas Caucus on March 10.

“I’m very proud of this impressive team led by Beverly Gossage and Mike Pirner. Kansas is a very important state in the primary season, and this large grassroots effort of citizen leaders demonstrates that my citizen-centered model of changing our country is working in the Sunflower State,” said Gingrich.

Leading the effort is Statewide Chairwoman Beverly Gossage. Beverly is the owner of HSA Benefits Consulting and a member of the Kansas GOP Executive Committee in Kansas. Her unique experience as an educator, broker and health care reform specialist has given her firsthand knowledge of the current health insurance marketplace and the complex reasons for high health care costs. Consequently, she is requested nationwide to educate businesses, individuals, legislators and government employees on the impact of the federal health reform law.  She has spoken at numerous conferences, including ALEC, NCSL, LOMA, NCPA, SPN, TIBA, NFIB and state and local Chambers of Commerce.  Gossage serves on three of the eight Exchange Working Groups and has been instrumental in fighting Obamacare nationwide. In 2006 President Bush invited Gossage to serve on an HSA roundtable council.

“It is an honor to be named Chairwoman of Newt’s campaign in Kansas.  Newt is the President we need to repeal ObamaCare, reduce gasoline prices to $2.50 a gallon, balance the budget, and restore American exceptionalism,” said Gossage.

Atlanta, GA – Pastors and faith leaders from throughout Georgia -- including from more than a dozen churches -- announced Monday they are personally endorsing Newt Gingrich in Tuesday’s Republican primary and joining his Faith Leaders Coalition.
 
The pastors include Dr. Richard Lee, pastor of First Redeemer in Cumming, Dr. Michael Youssef, an Atlanta Christian author and broadcaster, and the Rev. Benny Tate of Rock Springs Methodist in Milner, Ga.
 
Lee, Youssef and Tate are national co-chairs of Gingrich’s Faith Leaders Coalition. They will be working with the new Georgia faith leaders on Gingrich’s advisory coalition.
 
“Our nation sorely needs a President who not only says he believes in God but takes faith with him to the Oval Office every day,” said Dr. Lee. “Newt Gingrich is that man. And he will be the type of President to protect our right to worship without Washington interference. Religious freedom is what makes America exceptional, and Newt will make sure that freedom remains secure.”
 
Dr. Youssef added: “Newt is the one candidate who has the depth and knowledge to tackle the complex issues facing our nation today. I know he is a man of faith who will ask God to guide him in leading our country and keep our nation safe.”
 
Also endorsing Gingrich and joining the coalition is the Rev. Ike Reighard, senior pastor of Piedmont Church in Marietta, the Rev. Bill Purvis, pastor of Cascade Hills Church in Columbus, and the Rev. George Dillard, senior minister of Peachtree City Christian Church.
 
Gingrich said that having strong support from the faith community will make him a strong President.
 
“These faith leaders are important spiritual advisors to me and my campaign,” Gingrich said. “With God’s help and the American people, I want to be the next President and defend religious liberty among other issues important to those of faith.”

Atlanta, GA – Newt 2012 today announced that more than 130 prominent women leaders and activists from across Georgia have joined the Georgia Women with Newt Leadership Team to engage women voters across the country thru the GOP convention this summer.

They will join the Women with the Newt National Coalition led by Callista Gingrich, wife of Newt Gingrich and president of Gingrich Productions, a multimedia production company. A tireless campaigner, Callista has accompanied Newt across the country speaking to various women’s groups and conservative organizations.

“During the last several months, I have had the privilege of visiting with many wonderful women across the country -- learning about their concerns and hopes for the future,” said Mrs. Gingrich. “They all have the same fears as all Americans: getting our economy back on track. Atlanta, GA – Newt 2012 released a new ad today promoting Newt Gingrich’s American energy plan to lower gasoline prices below $2.50 per gallon.

Gingrich has been driving the national conversation on solutions for energy and gas prices for weeks, twice forcing President Obama to respond with energy speeches filled with excuses and fantasies. Yesterday, Gingrich called on President Obama to fire Energy Secretary Chu for saying his goal was not to lower gas prices, but to reduce U.S. consumption of oil.

Rep. Schulze, one of the "Reagan 13" served Pennsylvania as a Congressman from 1975 to 1993.

During his career in the House, Schulze Chaired the Republican Study Committee was appointed to the Presidential Advisory Committee on Federalism, was appointed to the Board of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation by George H. W. Bush. He also founded the Congressional Sportsmen's Caucus and Foundation in 1990. Schulze was recently given the Sportsmen's Heritage Award for lifetime achievement by the Safari Clubs International.

Schulze also served as Chairman of the National Prayer Breakfast, and has been a member of the House of Representatives weekly prayer breakfast for 30+ years.
