Romney For President Files Necessary Paperwork To Qualify For New Jersey’s 50 Delegates

ROMNEY FOR PRESIDENT FILES NECESSARY PAPERWORK TO QUALIFY FOR NEW JERSEY’S 50 DELEGATES

Boston, MA – Romney for President today filed the paperwork to qualify for all 50 delegates available in New Jersey’s June 5th primary. Governor Chris Christie will be the head of Mitt Romney’s at-large delegate slate.

Republican National Committeeman Bill Palatucci made the following statement on Mitt Romney’s New Jersey filing:

“The full slate of statewide and congressional district delegates filed today on behalf of Mitt Romney represents an accomplished and diverse group of New Jerseyans. I wanted to let you know that I am joining President Obama’s reelection campaign. I’m excited to work alongside you and thousands of other Minnesotans over the next seven months.

There is a simple reason why I am rejoining a campaign that I was part of four years ago: I believe in President Obama and I believe he deserves another four years to keep moving our country forward.

Four years ago, many of us were involved in the campaign of a Senator from Illinois with the vision and values that we all shared. I need you to get involved this time around.

Over the last four years, we’ve seen President Obama do some tremendous things. He brought the economy back from the brink and helped spur a recovery that’s seen 24 straight months of job growth. We have a new health care law that is making a huge difference in the lives of Minnesotans. And he brought an end to the war in Iraq.

But obviously we have more to do.

So I’m ready get to work. This is going to be a close campaign, it’s going to be a hard-fought campaign, and it’s going to take every one of else doing our part to help President Obama win.

Years ago, I worked for a college professor from Northfield who liked to say, "The future will not belong to those who sit on the sidelines.” That’s as true today as when Paul Wellstone campaigned across Minnesota. I need you working alongside me. Let’s get to work.

Background On Ambassador Mark Green:

Ambassador Mark Green Is The Former Ambassador To Tanzania And A Former Wisconsin Congressman. Green was appointed by President George W. Bush to serve as Ambassador to Tanzania from 2007 to 2009. He was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives representing Wisconsin’s 8th District from 1998 to 2006. Prior to his election to Congress, Green was a member of Wisconsin State Assembly and chaired the Assembly Republican Caucus.

Former Green Bay Packers DE, Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila, known as "KGB" to his fans, endorses Rick Santorum

PACKER FOOTBALL LEGEND ENDORSES RICK SANTORUM FOR PRESIDENT

Former Green Bay Packers defensive end, Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila, known as "KGB" to his fans, is endorsing Rick Santorum for President of the United States, the campaign announced today.

"Football taught me a lot," Gbaja-Biamila said. "One of the game's greatest lessons is that we play to win, and we play until it is over. I am endorsing Rick Santorum for president because he is a solid leader that represents the timeless values that made America good and prosperous. Rick Santorum is also the only person who can beat Barack Obama in November. While some may want to declare the game over, the reality is, it's not even half-time yet. 'Game on!'"

KGB was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2000, where he continues to be the all-time sack leader, holding the record for sacks with the Packers with 74 and a half.

KGB left the Packers after nine years and is unofficially retired from the NFL. He lives in Green Bay with his wife, Eileen, and sons, Rashid, Ali, Jedi, Judah, Kabeer Jr. and Immanuel.
