Newt Gingrich to Hold Forum with Gingrich Faith Leaders at International Church of Las Vegas

Atlanta, GA -- Newt Gingrich will appear at the International Church of Las Vegas today for a question and answer event with members of the Gingrich Faith Leaders Coalition. The International Church is the largest non-denominational church in Nevada. Its senior Pastor is Paul Goulet.

Newt Gingrich will be joined by George Barna, Chairman of the Gingrich Faith Leaders Coalition, and Jim Garlow, a national co-chair for the coalition.

In a statement posted on the church's website, Pastor Goulet explained that this is an event to hear from Speaker Gingrich through prayer.

"Because I truly believe that America is a nation at a crucial juncture, I’ve invited leaders of all kinds to join us" said Pastor Goulet.  "The Speaker will be sharing his heart and give us a chance to ask questions at the end of the prayer meeting."

Mitt Romney is the best — the only — choice for Nevada Republicans when they consider the four presidential contenders in their caucuses on Saturday.

Of those remaining, the former Massachusetts governor is the candidate who best represents the long-held values of Republican Party. Equally important, he is the one candidate who can be elected and the one best able to deal with the political realities in Washington, D.C., to accomplish what he and his party hope to accomplish if he’s elected president of the United States.

Romney’s term as Massachusetts governor was widely considered a success, however, and he demonstrated an ability to work with legislators on both sides of the aisle, a skill that would serve him well should he win the presidency in November and find himself dealing in the highly partisan atmosphere of the nation’s capital next year.

He has the extensive, successful business experience that Republicans say the country needs in a president. He is the Washington outsider they say they want. And he has solid conservative, if not always firm, credentials.

HENDERSON, Nevada – The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign announced today new members of its active “Small Businesses for Ron Paul” nationwide coalition. 
 
New members named today hail from Carson City and Clark and Nye counties, all Nevada, and pledge to spread the word about Dr. Paul’s ‘Plan to Restore America’ within their respective communities.  Yesterday Dr. Paul released details of how the plan will help Nevadans by focusing on five key elements.
 
Owner of One24 in Carson City, Mila Farrell cited Dr. Paul as the one who can win. She stated, “My candidate of choice to beat Barack Obama in November is Ron Paul.  Over a half-dozen polls across the nation show that Ron Paul is the one to best Obama.”
 
“Ron Paul is the only one with a plan that will not cut one penny from our veterans, seniors, and our national defense.  Ron Paul truly fights for us, the little guy, and is the only candidate not subservient to special interests and lobbyists.  More active military have donated to him than all other candidates combined,” concluded Ms. Farrell.
 
Dave Newton is co-owner with his wife of Newton Consulting, a human resources consultancy operating since 2004.

“I support Dr. Paul for President because I believe it is extremely important for the strength of America and to our children that we reduce our deficit and reduce the size of our federal government, which is incredibly inefficient and completely lacking in accountability,” stated Mr. Newton.
 
Mr. Newton continued, “I also agree with his position that we should focus our military on national defense and not try to be the world’s policeman.  If we want to reduce the influence of special interests in Washington, we can’t keep electing people who owe their election to special interest money.  Dr. Paul is the only candidate who sticks to his conviction about what’s best for America and doesn’t go in whatever direction he thinks is most likely to get him elected.”
 
Owner of a Pahrump flight instruction and aerial photography business for five years, Jeffery Bobeck called Ron Paul “The only honest Republican running for President and the only candidate that will follow the Constitution,” further stating, “All I want from our government is transparency and an effort to uphold the contract made between the people and their government, that contract being the Constitution.  Currently, that contract continues to be breached.”

HENDERSON, Nevada – The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign named today new members of its active “Seniors for Ron Paul” nationwide coalition.  New members hail from Clark and Washoe counties, both Nevada, and have pledged to spread the word about Dr. Paul among their respective communities.
 
Ed Jucevic of Washoe County stated succinctly his support for Dr. Paul.  “The most important issue for Americans is the fact that our government is in debt and spending more each year than it takes in,” he said.
