Ron Paul Nevada Team Names New ‘Hispanics for Ron Paul’ Nationwide Coalition Members

HENDERSON, Nevada – The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign announced today additions to its active “Hispanics for Ron Paul” nationwide coalition in Nevada.

The following additions to the coalition hail from Clark County and have pledged to spread the word about Dr. Paul among their respective communities.
 
Married for over 22 years and self-employed parents of five, Angela and Emanuel Medeiros are staunch Las Vegas-area supporters of the 12-term Congressman from Texas.
 
“A freer America will benefit people from all walks of life.  If people got accurate information about Ron Paul, they’d vote for him.  His track record of standing up for the Constitution, and for civil and economic liberties, is phenomenal.  With Ron Paul’s leadership, we are on our way to healing this nation,” said Mrs. Medeiros.
 
Mr. Medeiros added, “Ron Paul stands for the Constitution.  He supports a free America, liberty for all, and wants to return power back to the people.”
 
Illustrating the broadness of Dr. Paul’s support, Las Vegas Spanish teacher TJ Troche said he supports Ron Paul “…because he supports the Constitution.  He is against unconstitutional wars and that is what the U.S. needs.  His platform of returning power back to the states and people is also a huge plus,” while UNLV student Kevin Torres, an active College Republican, says, “What brought me to the Republican Party was the realization that economic liberty is essential to personal liberty.  Ron Paul understands the importance of liberty in every aspect of life.”
 
New members being announced today are leaders in their community who are representative of the support Dr. Paul enjoys from America’s fastest-growing population and voter segment.

HENDERSON, Nevada – The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign announced today new members of its active “Veterans for Ron Paul” nationwide coalition.  Today’s additions hail from Clark County, Nevada, and pledge to spread the word among their respective communities concerning the 12-term Congressman from Texan’s staunch advocacy for veterans’ issues.
 
Today’s veterans served in the Army, Air Force, and Navy, branches of the U.S. Armed Forces that also happen to be the top three employers by source of individual donations to the Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign.
 
A Specialist-4 rank Army veteran who served in Vietnam, Robert Walker of Las Vegas cites Dr. Paul as championing the basic tenets of conservatism.
 
Describing his support Mr. Walker said, “Dr. Ron Paul gets my support because of his adherence to the Constitution that he has sworn to uphold.  His relentless advocacy of liberty and self-responsibility, desire to end all of the undeclared wars and bring our boys home, and finally, his dedication to limited government, are why he gets my vote.”
 
John Taylor of Henderson is an Airman First Class four-year Air Force veteran.  Echoing Dr. Paul’s call to resolve issues at home before we deploy abroad he stated, “Veterans have served in order to protect our American way of life.  We have enemies, not only in foreign countries, but here at home.  The homeland enemies of basic freedom seem to be in the government, eroding civil rights and abrogating habeas corpus.”
 
Mr. Taylor added, “In the pursuit to remove the current administration, it would not benefit us long-term to simply elect a big government ‘Republican.’”
 
Navy Junior Grade Lieutenant Randolph Rose served five years.  Emphasizing the right to keep what you earn, he supports Ron Paul because “He wants to eliminate the personal income tax because it caps people’s ability to accumulate the fruits of their labor, and because it will help the less fortunate while stimulating business growth and job-creation.  Ron Paul is obedient to the Constitution and will reverse the trend of moving away from these fundamental principles.”
 
Ron Paul is the only candidate this election possessing an honorable record of military service.  A flight surgeon during the Cold War era, his commitment to veterans was recently showcased in the campaign’s television ad ‘He Served’.  The campaign’s more recent television ad titled ‘Secure’ highlights Dr. Paul’s plan to keep America safe.

Sarasota, FL - While former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and former Congressman Newt Gingrich bickered over their checkered past, the reviews are in and Rick Santorum stood head and shoulders above his competition.

HENDERSON, Nevada – The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign announced today new members of its active “Small Businesses for Ron Paul” nationwide coalition.  Today’s additions hail from Clark and Storey counties, both Nevada, and pledge to spread the word about Dr. Paul among their respective communities.
 
Scot Savage is owner of Reiss Properties, a family owned Las Vegas real estate firm since 1980.  He describes how Dr. Paul understands the upcoming required austerity stating, “As a small business owner I have had to learn to do more with less in this new economy.  Ron Paul wants to put our government on a budget that makes sense and even wants to balance the budget.  Those are the same values I have in my business.  My Las Vegas real estate business needs Dr. Ron Paul to replace President Obama now.”

More than 20 speakers and panelists to address gathering of center-right Hispanics

WASHINGTON, Jan. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Hispanic Leadership Network (HLN), a center-right advocacy action group, today announced that former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, and former Senator Rick Santorum will address its "Inspiring Action" conference to be held January 26-27 at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami, Florida. Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and former Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez will serve as conference co-chairs.

The conference's Friday program also features discussions on job creation, immigration, and the power of the Hispanic vote. Inspiring Action is HLN's third conference since its official launch and inaugural gathering in January 2011 in Miami, Florida. Last September, HLN held its Rebuilding the American Dream  conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
