Ron Paul Nevada Team Names New ‘Small Businesses for Ron Paul’ Nationwide Coalition Members
HENDERSON, Nevada – The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign announced today new members of its active “Small Businesses for Ron Paul” nationwide coalition. Today’s additions hail from Clark and Storey counties, both Nevada, and pledge to spread the word about Dr. Paul among their respective communities.
Scot Savage is owner of Reiss Properties, a family owned Las Vegas real estate firm since 1980. He describes how Dr. Paul understands the upcoming required austerity stating, “As a small business owner I have had to learn to do more with less in this new economy. Ron Paul wants to put our government on a budget that makes sense and even wants to balance the budget. Those are the same values I have in my business. My Las Vegas real estate business needs Dr. Ron Paul to replace President Obama now.”
Cynthia and Patrick Kennedy have operated Video Velocity, a Virginia City-based video production company for 33 years. The company employs two and began in 1979, producing award-winning quality video.
Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy said, “We have been supporters of Ron Paul since we first read about him in the 1980s. He is the only presidential candidate who understands what is required to bring economic prosperity back to our country. He is the only candidate who understands that our debt is a big security risk to our foreign policy. Only Dr. Paul will strive to end the Federal Reserve, which will again give us sound money and protect our retirement investments.”
“The United States is perceived as an ambitiously interventionist entity around the globe, rather than a respected, admired, and trusted friend in good times and bad. We would like this unfortunate trend to end. Bring the troops home, preserve individual liberty, and run our country according to the Constitution – the only person who will do this is Ron Paul,” concluded the Kennedys.
Most important to the economic recovery is an environment with little resistance to new business formation and growth. John Turkovich of Las Vegas is seeking such an atmosphere as he prepares to launch his inventory business.
“I support Ron Paul because I am tired of the status quo in Washington. I believe it is foolish to give Washington your money only so they can give it back to the states telling them how to spend it. I liken it to giving your neighbor your paycheck, telling him to cash it, and give you back what he thinks you need,” declared Mr. Turkovich.
As a function of this announcement, the above-mentioned persons are all members of the “Business Owners for Ron Paul” nationwide coalition, in particular the Nevada steering committee.
