Iowa GOP Chair to Join RANDPAC
DES MOINES, IA - Iowa Republican Party Chairman A. J. Spiker will join RANDPAC as a political advisor. Prior to becoming the Chairman and a voting member of the Republican National Committee, Spiker served as one of the 17 members of Iowa's State Central Committee and in 2011 served as co-chairman of Congressman Ron Paul's Iowa campaign for the Republican nomination.
RANDPAC Executive Director Doug Stafford stated: "We are pleased that A. J. will be joining us, his experience in Iowa and across the nation will be vital. His ability to work with the grassroots is unmatched and we welcome him to the team."
Spiker added: "There is no better champion for liberty lovers then Senator Rand Paul. I look forward to working with the team, together we can make a difference. I am eager to hit the ground running."
Spiker will remain as Chairman of the Iowa Republican Party until a new Chair has been elected.
