RUBIO TO PROPOSE NEW ECONOMIC GROWTH AGENDA AT KEMP FORUM
Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) will propose a new agenda to grow the U.S. economy at a Kemp Forum event hosted by the Jack Kemp Foundation at Google’s headquarters in Washington, DC.
Rubio will deliver remarks detailing new policies to unleash American innovation and create well paying, middle class jobs as part of the Kemp Forum on economic growth. Following his remarks, Rubio will have a discussion with Kemp Foundation President Jimmy Kemp and take audience questions.
“I want to focus on economic growth in the 21st century because I believe it is key to a decision we have to make. Before us are two roads that we can choose from,” Rubio said. “The one we’re on right now will lead us to the slow and steady decline of this important and extraordinary nation. But there’s another alternative out there, and that’s a new American century.
“And it is fully within our reach, but we have to make some changes in our policies to take full advantage of the opportunities of this new century,” Rubio added. “And I intend to lead in this front by offering real ideas about how we can get our nation there and unleash the new American century in this new century we live in now.”
