Sen. Franken to Campaign for Hillary Clinton and Democrats Down the Ticket
St. Paul, MN -- Today, Saturday, November 5th, Senator Al Franken will campaign in Minnesota for Hillary Clinton and discuss her plans to build an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top. Franken will encourage Minnesotans to vote early and support Democrats up and down the ticket.
At a number of rallies around the Twin Cities, Franken will lay out the stakes of the election, pointing to Clinton's words in the final debate that, "It's really up to all of us to demonstrate who we are and who our country is and to stand up and be very clear about what we expect from our next president, how we want to bring our country together, where we don't want to have the kind of pitting of people one against the other, where instead we celebrate our diversity, we lift people up, and we make our country even greater. America is great because America is good."
With more people voting early in this election than any in history, Franken will encourage students to find their early vote site at www.iwillvote.com/locate.
