
Bernie Sanders to Visit New Jersey on Sunday, May 8, 2016 and Monday, May 9, 2016
BURLINGTON, Vt. -- U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders on Sunday kicks off a two-day swing through New Jersey. The Democratic Party presidential candidate will host rallies in New Brunswick and Atlantic City. Sanders will discuss a wide range of issues, including getting big money out of politics, his plan to make public colleges and universities tuition-free, combating climate change and ensuring universal health care.

Information for the public: This event is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are strongly encouraged. Admission is first come, first served. Public entrance through the general admission ticket office entrance. For security reasons, please do not bring bags and limit what you bring to small, personal items like keys and cell phones. Weapons, sharp objects, chairs, and signs or banners on sticks will not be allowed through security. Free parking available on-site. Use NJ Transit trains and the SEPTA 59th St line to Trenton which both stop regularly at New Brunswick station. See here for a NJ Transit train schedule. General admission and ADA attendees may enter via the main entrance doors off of the boardwalk and adjacent to Kennedy Plaza. For security reasons, please do not bring bags and limit what you bring to small, personal items like keys and cell phones. Weapons, sharp objects, chairs, and signs or banners on sticks will not be allowed through security. Parking is available for a fee beneath the venue or at the surrounding casinos.
