Marco Rubio Campaign Announces Growing Support In Kentucky

Today, the Marco Rubio for President campaign announced a growing group of conservative leaders in Kentucky supporting Marco.  Last week, the campaign released the names of 24 Kentucky state legislators. The Rubio campaign is built for the long haul, with organizations in all 50 states and conservatives across the country rallying behind Marco. Today's announcement is a part of a growing group of Kentucky leaders supporting Marco for the March 5 caucus in Kentucky, including former Congressman Geoff Davis.
"The most important job of the president is to keep our country safe, and I believe Marco Rubio is the only candidate who truly is ready to be commander-in-chief on day one," said Former Congressman Geoff Davis. "Marco understands the national security challenges facing our country and has shown the judgment and foresight necessary to protect our nation. I wholeheartedly trust him and am excited to endorse him for president."

Today, the Marco Rubio for President campaign released a new radio ad that will begin airing on stations today in South Carolina. In the ad, South Carolina Senator Tim Scott and Congressman Trey Gowdy share how this election will not only determine the presidency, but will decide the future of the Supreme Court. This is why they both support Marco, because he is the conservative that can win in November.

ANNOUNCER: Congressman Trey Gowdy and Senator Tim Scott.
SCOTT: Trey, one of the things that concerns me the most about this upcoming election is that whoever wins will decide the fate of the Supreme Court.
GOWDY: You are exactly right. It doesn't matter who you want to put on the Supreme Court if you cannot win in November.
SCOTT: It does really zero-in on the most important issue, which is not only picking a candidate who can win, but picking the conservative that can win.
GOWDY: You and I talk about it all the time: Marco Rubio is the sixth most conservative member of Congress, House and Senate, according to Heritage which of course is led by Jim DeMint right now. He is as conservative as anybody in this race, but he can win. If you care about the Second Amendment, if you care about religious liberty, if you care about the Tenth Amendment, if you care about the proper scope of government in our lives then you have to pick the next Supreme Court Justice. You better win in November.
SCOTT: I think Marco says it really well when he says let's not try to just make a point. Make a point, that is a good thing, but let's make a difference.
