Rubio Campaign Announces Growing Group Of Vermont Leaders Supporting Marco
Today, the Marco Rubio for President campaign is excited to announce a large group of prominent Vermont political and community leaders endorsing Marco. Today's rollout follows yesterday’s announcement of Lieutenant Governor Scott, Former Lieutenant Governor Dubie, State Senator Dustin Degree and over half of Vermont’s House Republican caucus pledging their support for Marco. As the March 1 Vermont primary nears, momentum for Marco continues to grow.
"I'm honored to stand with so many other influential Vermont leaders in backing Marco Rubio," said Wendy Wilton, Rutland City Treasurer. "Marco has shown that he is the only candidate strong enough to beat Donald Trump and then the Democrats in November. I hope on Tuesday that Republicans across our state will back the one conservative that can win, and that's Marco Rubio."
