Trump Campaign cancels Jackson, Mississippi rally as hurricane approaches
New York, NY – As Hurricane Florence approaches the east coast this week, Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. announced that the Make America Great Again rally scheduled in Jackson, Mississippi this Friday, September 14 is cancelled.
“Regrettably, we must cancel the planned Make America Great Again rally in Jackson, Mississippi this Friday,” said Michael Glassner, Chief Operating Officer of Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. “With Hurricane Florence on its way, we determined that this is the safest decision."
TRUMP CAMPAIGN ANNOUNCES MAGA RALLY FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 14 – JACKSON, MS
New York, NY – Today, Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. announced that the next scheduled MAGA rally featuring President Donald Trump will be held in Jackson, Mississippi on Friday, September 14 at 6:30 pm CT. This is the fourth rally that President Trump will have held in Mississippi and the second rally in Jackson since he first began his race for president in June, 2015.
As the President continues his national midterm campaign tour with this stop in Jackson, he is expected to discuss the latest developments with the surging economy that’s lifting up families across Mississippi. Also, President Trump will urge Mississippians to get out and vote to protect the GOP majorities in the House and Senate, and vote for Cindy Hyde-Smith in the U.S. Senate Special Election in November.
