Wayne Messam to Launch Presidential Campaign, Plan to Resolve $1.5 Trillion in Student Debt
Miramar, Fla. — On Saturday, March 30, first-generation American, national college football champion, successful climate-conscious business owner and two-term South Florida Mayor Wayne Messam will launch his campaign for President of the United States. Mayor Messam plans to release the details of his first bold idea to resolve the $1.5 trillion in U.S. student loan debt, a bold, unique proposal on a major issue of economic security for over 44 million Americans. The launch will take place at Florida Memorial University, the only Historically Black College and University in South Florida, and be livestreamed for the rest of the nation.
