On Saturday, May 18, Joe and Jill Biden will hold an official Biden for President campaign kickoff rally in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - the birthplace of our democracy.
Joe Biden is running to restore the soul of the nation, rebuild the middle class, and unify the country. In Philadelphia, Biden will lay out his vision for unifying America with respected leadership on the world stage—and dignified leadership at home. Biden believes in an America that is based on equal opportunity for all. Where everyone in the middle class, and those who aspire to be part of it, - regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion or disability - is in on the deal. And, everyone is treated with dignity.
The campaign kickoff rally culminates a multi-week tour where Biden met with voters in the key early states of Pennsylvania, Iowa, South Carolina, Nevada, and New Hampshire to listen firsthand to their concerns and ideas, and make his case to serve as the next president of the United States.
