Kamala Harris Iowa Supporters to Hold Statewide Debate Watch Parties on Thursday, June 27, 2019
Harris will appear on the June 27 debate stage, discuss her vision for America
On Thursday, June 27, Kamala Harris supporters across Iowa will host watch parties to cheer on Harris as she participates in the first Democratic debate. The debate, which will be televised on NBC from 8 PM CDT - 10 PM CDT will give Harris an opportunity to discuss her vision for America with the entire country. Supporters will join together throughout the state of Iowa to watch the debate and discuss how they can organize their friends and family to further support Harris.
Debate watch party hosts are provided with a team Harris debate tool kit and participants across house parties are planning on playing “Kamala Harris Debate Night Bingo.” Download the Bingo card, here.
Harris has made four visits to the state since announcing her run for President of the United States. In the middle of June, the Harris campaign used the Iowa Democratic Party Hall of Fame celebration as a launching pad for the campaign, announcing we will have more than 65 paid staffers on the ground by July 1 and that Harris will be back in state at least twice in the month of July. She has already announced a 3-day swing July 3 - 5 to celebrate the 4th of July with Iowans and a stop in Davenport on July 16 for an AARP/Des Moines Register forum.
All of these watch parties are free and open to the public. Iowans are asked to RSVP.
