Inslee to Barnstorm Iowa with 8 Events in 3 Days
Washington Gov. to attend Iowa State Fair, gun sense forum, and meet-and-greets across Iowa
Inslee will travel to Des Moines, Clear Lake, Grimes, Polk City, Nevada, Waterloo, and Cedar Rapids
Seattle, WA – Governor Jay Inslee will spend the weekend in Iowa with a schedule packed full of events at and around the Iowa State Fair. Inslee will meet with Iowa voters to speak about his campaign and share details of his plans to defeat the climate crisis.
Inslee will attend large political events with other presidential candidates, including the Democratic Wing Ding dinner, the Iowa State Fair and Political Soapbox, and the Everytown for Gun Safety candidate forum. He will continue his Iowa trip with retail politics stops, including meet and greets and a roundtable with the Cedar Rapids Corridor Conservation Coalition.
Governor Jay Inslee is the only 2020 candidate making climate change his top priority. He recently announced his “Community Climate Justice” plan, the fifth plank in Inslee’s groundbreaking climate platform, including his “100% Clean Energy for America,” "Evergreen Economy", “Global Climate Mobilization,” and “Freedom from Fossil Fuels” plans, which have been called the “gold standard” among climate change plans.
