Julián Castro Returns to Los Angeles and San Francisco, California on December 2-5, 2019 *Updated
SAN ANTONIO, TX (December 1, 2019) – On Monday, December 2, 2019, presidential candidate, former Obama Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Mayor of San Antonio, Texas, Julián Castro will return to Los Angeles and San Francisco, California for various campaign events.
On Monday, December 2, Secretary Castro will speak to a classroom of political science students at East Los Angeles College about government, politics, policy, and public service.
On Tuesday, December 3, Secretary Castro will join members of Black Lives Matter at a press conference calling for accountability for the officers involved in the shooting of Grechario Mack. He will then attend a roundtable on veterans' homelessness and visit East Los Angeles College, and will join supporters in Los Angeles at a lunch reception.
On Thursday, December 5, Secretary Castro will deliver a foreign policy speech at his alma mater, Stanford University, and will attend a reception with supporters in San Francisco.
