Bernie 2020 Announces Michigan Staff Expansion and Five Office Openings
DETROIT – Today, Bernie 2020 announced a major expansion of its Michigan operation with a slate of new staff hires and five field offices opening in Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Detroit, Flint, and Grand Rapids.
The Bernie 2020 Michigan Team includes:

• Alia Phillips, State Field Director
• Bria Lott, Regional Field Director
• Ben Mora, Regional Field Director
• Brad Chester, Regional Field Director
• Spencer Reed, Regional Field Director
• Four Field Organizers
“With the operation we're building in Michigan, Bernie Sanders will not only win the primary, but he will also be the only candidate with the energy and enthusiasm to flip this state back and defeat Donald Trump,” said Michigan State Coordinator Michael Fasullo. “We have thousands of volunteers across the state and our staff is tirelessly working to expand this multi-ethnic, multi-generational, people-powered movement.”
With just over three weeks until the Michigan Democratic primary, Bernie Sanders is in a commanding position in both the primary and a general election matchup with Donald Trump. The Real Clear Politics average of general election polls shows Bernie is opening a wide 50.5% to 43.8% lead over Trump in Michigan, outpacing his fellow Democratic candidates and demonstrating why he is best positioned to beat Trump in November.
The campaign will host office opening events for local supporters at each of the new locations this week.
