Bernie Sanders to Hold Rallies in Virginia Ahead of Super Tuesday ***Updated
Sanders to hold rallies in Richmond, Northern Virginia, and Virginia Beach / Norfolk
WASHINGTON－Sen. Bernie Sanders will return to Virginia to speak to voters in the final days ahead of the March 3 primary. The Senator will hold rallies in Richmond, Northern Virginia, and in the Virginia Beach / Norfolk area. The Richmond rally will change location to accommodate the high volume of RSVPs from the community.
The trip comes on the heels of the Senator’s commanding victory in the Nevada caucus, and follows recent polling showing Sen. Sanders tied for the lead in the commonwealth -- with growing support among Virginians and a strong lead among young voters.
Over the weekend, volunteers knocked more than 26,000 doors across the commonwealth, and will continue to ramp-up Get out the Vote efforts in the final days.
