MNGOP Statement on U.S. Senate Endorsement
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Republican Party of Minnesota Chairwoman Jennifer Carnahan released the following statement regarding the endorsement of Jason Lewis for U.S. Senate:
"Today, our dedicated Minnesota Republican activists overwhelmingly voted to endorse former Congressman Jason Lewis as our next U.S. Senator from the great state of Minnesota.
"Lewis has spent his career on the radio talking about the important issues, and now he is committed to acting on them. During his time in Congress, Lewis was a strong leader on health care reform, tax reform, and juvenile justice reform.
"Lewis is the best person we have to defeat Tina Flint Smith and represent our midwest, Republican values in Washington. Join us in supporting Jason Lewis as we work to show Smith and her radical, far-left policies the door in November.
