MN GOP Statement on VP Pence Coming Back to Minnesota
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Republican Party of Minnesota Chairwoman Jennifer Carnahan released the following statement:
"The Republican Party is excited to welcome Vice President Mike Pence back to Minnesota next week. While Joe Biden has largely ignored our state, both President Trump and Vice President Pence have shown that Minnesota is a priority in both politics and policy.
"With less than two-weeks to Election Day, Republicans are feeling an energy and momentum in many of our state's key races. From Jason Lewis closing the gap with Tina Smith by 10 points since August and Michelle Fischbach poised to retire Collin Peterson in the seventh congressional district.
"Our efforts have surpassed four million direct voter contacts this cycle; these are real conversations with real voters not spam texts that the DFL counts in their voter contacts. The strong efforts our party has put forward this cycle are paying off and President Trump will be the first Republican presidential candidate to win Minnesota since 1972."
