MN GOP Statement on Presidential Election
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Republican Party of Minnesota Chairwoman Jennifer Carnahan released the following statement:
"This morning we saw the media call the Presidential election for Joe Biden. First and foremost, as RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel tweeted, "the media doesn't decide who wins elections, voters do."
"For the news media to call this election for Joe Biden when there are still hundreds of thousands of votes outstanding in battleground states with razor thin margins, does an injustice to the American people and our free and fair election system.
"In America we stand for transparency, free and fair elections and the assurance that every legal vote will be counted, that legal votes can be cast only once; and illegal votes are to be discarded. With different pockets of voting irregularities around the country, it is our duty to ensure that this process is full of light, truth, transparency and freedom. This is the foundation of America. The moment that is taken away from us is the moment we lose what America is."
