SAN ANTONIO, TX (April 25, 2019) – This Sunday, April 28, 2019, presidential candidate and former U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary under President Obama and San Antonio Mayor, Julián Castro, will travel to New Hampshire, his third trip to the first-in-the-nation primary state since launching his candidacy for president in January.

In New Hampshire, Secretary Castro will participate in a breakfast meeting at the home of Carlos Cardona in Laconia, join a meet & greet in Plymouth hosted by the Plymouth Area Democrats and Plymouth State Democrats, and address the New Hampshire College Democrats Convention in Dartmouth. Secretary Castro will also participate in a meet & greet in Lebanon and join Keene Democrats at a meet & greet at Keene State College. On Monday, April 29, Secretary Castro will record a televised town hall with WMUR-TV at 9:00 AM ET.

Jennifer Carnahan Re-elected as Republican Party of Minnesota Chair

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Today, the Republican Party of Minnesota held its 2019 State Central Committee Meeting in Hutchinson, MN. 346 Delegates voted to elect party officers who will work to elect Republicans and represent the MNGOP for the next two years. Republican Party of Minnesota Executive Director Kevin Poindexter released the following statement regarding the results of the Chair's election:

“Today, on the first ballot, grassroots leaders and activists from across Minnesota overwhelmingly voted to re-elect Chairwoman Jennifer Carnahan. The enthusiasm and energy from our delegates was palpable and proves our party is ready to build on our efforts from the last two years towards a successful 2020.”
