MN GOP Chairman David Hann Announces Andy Aplikowski as Interim Political Director
Minneapolis, MN – Today, Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman David Hann announced the hiring of Andy Aplikowski as interim political director, filling the vacancy created by the resignation of Lukas Baker.
“Andy knows Minnesota Republican politics like the back of his hand and will be a strong asset to our team,” Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman David Hann said. “He will lead our political team as we navigate redistricting, helping our local party units realign with the new maps, and assist our candidates and campaigns navigating the endorsement process as we prepare our ground game to win in 2022. I am proud to welcome Andy to our team.”
Aplikowski previously served with the Republican Party of Minnesota from 2020 to 2021, and has been a small business owner and longtime party activist who assisted campaigns and candidates at every level of the ballot. Aplikowski attended the University of Minnesota Duluth, and he lives in Forest Lake with his wife Rachel.
“Chairman Hann is a great leader for our party and is building a team poised to bring unprecedented success to Minnesota Republicans up and down the ballot this year,” Aplikowski said. “I am proud to be part of his team and looking forward to building a great operation poised to beat Tim Walz and the Democrats in November.”
