Perry Johnson’s Two-Cent Plan Will Save America: Economy, National Security, and Moral Fabric
Des Moines, IA – Perry Johnson, presidential candidate and third place finisher in CPAC’s presidential straw poll, will address the crowd at the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition’s Spring event ‘A Road to Victory,’ speaking on the Democrat-driven economic and moral issues plaguing our nation.
Johnson’s Two-Cent Plan focuses on cutting two cents off of every dollar in federal discretionary spending annually. His book, Two Cents to Save America, also outlines policies that will protect our borders and strengthen national security. Johnson will formally announce plans later today to dismantle the Department of Education to combat woke indoctrination in our nation’s public schools.
“America is facing a debt crisis that is jeopardizing our future as the world leader. My Two-Cents Plan is critical, now more than ever if we want to get our reckless spending under control. It is not just a plan to solve our economic and national security issues, but a plan to restore the moral fabric of this country.
“Our reckless spending is endangering our way of life and I am the only candidate who has put forward an actual plan to solve the crisis. We’re letting down generations of Americans. I was lucky enough to live the American dream, and I’m running for President to protect it.”
“The radical left has gone too far. They are coming for our children, and as a father to three teenage sons, I will not sit idly by as I watch Democrats destroy American values and American education. The classroom should be a place where kids learn to read, write, and do arithmetic. There is no place for political indoctrination in our schools.
“If elected president, one of my very first tasks will be to dismantle the Department of Education, send that money back to the states, leaving education decisions to parents and local leaders. This is the only way to ensure a solid education foundation for our children and to protect them from insidious ideologies.”
Perry Johnson helped revolutionize the automobile industry in the early 1980s. When the industry was reeling, he knew how to implement quality and efficiency. He went on to implement similar quality standards in other products, such as food, medical devices, and airplanes. A quality guru and professional problem solver, Perry Johnson is now turning his expertise to the most inefficient institution in the country – the federal government. His new book, Two Cents to Save America, is a detailed plan for putting the federal government on a two-cent diet to finally get spending under control and tame our nation’s record inflation.
Perry Johnson kicked off his efforts with a Super Bowl ad buy in markets across Iowa and with his latest buy, has spent more than $800,000 on TV advertising campaigns through the end of March in New Hampshire and Iowa. Perry opened his first campaign office in Ankeny, IA and has bus tours planned in both states throughout the months of April and May. Perry recently announced he has more than $2 million cash on hand and has contributed more than $3.7 million to his campaign as he seeks the Republican nomination for president.
