Rep. Dean Phillips Announces $1 Million Raised in First Two Months of Campaign
Rep. Phillips has raised $1 million from over 6,000 individual donors representing voters in all 50 states, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, and Americans abroad.
Manchester, NH – Today, Dean Phillips announced his fundraising from the first two months of his campaign which totaled $1 million, with 75% of donations under $50. Since his launch at the end of October, Phillips has raised money from more than 6,000 individual donors across all 50 states as well as Washington DC, Puerto Rico, and Americans abroad.
“Despite an onslaught of opposition by the Democratic Party, Dean Phillips has built a nationwide movement,” said campaign manager Zach Graumann. “We are building a campaign that will see us not just through New Hampshire, but through Super Tuesday all the way to the Democratic Convention. We are just getting started in this race.”
Starting from no email list, infrastructure, or national name recognition, Dean Phillips has created a national movement from a literal standstill just a few weeks ago.
The campaign is using the funds to support a growing TV ad presence in New Hampshire ahead of the primary, including a recently launched Medicare for All campaign.
