Dr. Jill Biden, Gwen Walz to Campaign Together in Michigan and Wisconsin
On Monday, October 28, Dr. Jill Biden and Mrs. Gwen Walz will campaign in Michigan and Wisconsin, marking the first time the two longtime educators campaign together.
In Traverse City, Michigan, Dr. Biden and Mrs. Walz will join Harris-Walz campaign supporters for a volunteer mobilization event.
In Bay City, Michigan, they will attend a Women for Harris-Walz event, which will focus on what’s at stake for reproductive freedoms in the election. Mrs. Walz has shared her personal fertility journey on the campaign trail and laid out the ways the Trump-Vance Project 2025 agenda threatens reproductive freedom, including fertility treatments.
In La Crosse, Wisconsin, they will conclude the day at an Educators for Harris-Walz event. Dr. Biden and Mrs. Walz are both longtime educators who have continued their careers in education throughout their husbands’ service in elected office.
In both states, Dr. Biden and Mrs. Walz will encourage early voting, which started in Wisconsin last Tuesday, October 22, and begins statewide in Michigan today.
