FRIDAY: Governor Tim Walz to Campaign in Detroit, Flint, and Traverse City for Michigan Early Vote Blitz
***All times are local unless otherwise indicated***
On Friday, November 1, Governor Tim Walz will campaign in Detroit, Flint, and Traverse City to mobilize Michiganders to vote early and in person for Vice President Harris and Democrats up and down the ballot.
Governor Walz will underscore the contrast between Vice President Harris’ vision for a New Way Forward to lower costs, protect workers’ rights, and defend our freedoms versus Donald Trump’s Project 2025 agenda that would undermine unions, raise costs on hardworking families, and give Trump unprecedented and virtually unchecked power over our lives.
The Harris-Walz campaign is encouraging Michiganders to make a plan to vote early. Michiganders have more options to vote early this year including expanded early voting or by mail. Michiganders can register to vote in person at some early vote sites and at their municipal clerk’s office through 8 p.m. on Election Day and cast a ballot at the same time.
