With overwhelming support, Senator Tim Scott was elected to lead the NRSC into the midterms
WASHINGTON, DC - U.S. Senator Tim Scott was elected by his Republican U.S. Senate colleagues on Wednesday to be the next chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC). With Republicans taking control of the U.S. Senate in 2024, Senator Scott will also be Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee.

Tim Scott campaigned with every top U.S. Senate candidate, and directly raised or gave millions to Republicans up and down the ballot. The Senator maintains a close relationship with President-elect Donald J. Trump, and looks forward to partnering with him to enact their agenda, and grow and protect the Republican Senate majority in 2026.
